Dave attended St. Xavier University on a football scholarship.....excelled both on the football field and in the classroom and was named to the 1995 NAIA Academic All-American Team.....was named Northwestern Mutual's Chicago Network office's 1997 Rookie of the Year.....received the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network's Regional New Financial Representative Award for several years in various categories: Bronze (2nd place - 1997), Silver (2nd place - 1998), Gold (1st place - 1999), and Platinum (1st place - 2000).....is a 5 time qualifier (2000, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009) of the elite Northwestern Mutual Forum, which represents the top producing Northwestern Mutual Financial Network Representatives in the country......In 2007 received his CLU designation from the American College.
